Platov Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) has reopened direct flights to Turkey. Turkish Airlines was the first to resume flights after more than a two-month break, performing a scheduled flight to Istanbul on 22 June 2021, followed by AZUR Air that operated a charter flight to Antalya.

Turkish Airlines has resumed a regular daily flight Istanbul - Rostov-on-Don - Istanbul, departing from Platov at 03.25 and arriving in Turkey’s largest city at six in the morning.

In addition, the carrier has also scheduled regular flights to Antalya starting on 03 July with a frequency of three times a week on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
