Air flights to Minsk reopen fr om Platov International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC). Belavia Airlines, the national carrier of Belarus, is ready to start flying over the Minsk -Rostov-on-Don - Minsk route from February 13 on. Weekly flights will be performed by Embraer jetliners.
The departure from Minsk is scheduled for 23:30 on Saturdays. The plane arrives in Platov at 1:45 on Sunday. From Platov the flight departs on Sunday at 03:15 and lands in the Belarusian capital at 05:35. Tickets are already on sale on the Airlines’ website.
Before the pandemic, Belavia used to fly from Platov to Minsk four times a week.

Russian citizens must take a test for coronavirus infection upon arrival from abroad and upload the results on a special form onto the Public Services resource within three days. Foreign citizens must have on hand the results of the test performed not earlier than 72 hours prior to departure. It is possible to undergo the testing upon arrival directly at Platov Airport: there are four mobile stations operating around the clock in the square near the terminal wh ere biomaterials are sampled for testing. This is a paid service provided by non-government medical institutions.
