On 19 February 2021, Platov International Airport (managed by Airports of Regions MC) has launched the first flight on a new route. Nordwind Airlines has tackled direct flights from Rostov-on-Don to the Kyrgyz city of Osh.
The flight departs from Platov at 10:50 and arrives in Osh at 17:25. The return flight departs at 19:15 and arrives in Platov at 20:35. The time is local for each airport.
The flights are operated by Airbus 321 once a week on Fridays. Tickets are on sale on the Nordwind Airlines’ website. The Airlines also offers transfer flights from Moscow to Osh with a connection in Rostov-on-Don.
Flights from Platov to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyz Republic, are available as well. They are operated by Azimut Airlines once a week on Wednesdays.
When entering the Kyrgyz Republic passengers must have a printed certificate showing a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus, dated not earlier than 72 hours before departure from the first point of the route.

Information about the relevant flight status is displayed on the online board one day prior to departure. Passenger service at Platov airport is available only for visitors wearing a face mask.
