A field laboratory testing passengers for coronavirus infection has launched its operations fr om Platov international airport. Mobile testing stations are located in the immediate proximity to the passenger terminal – at the bus stop near the main entrance to the terminal.
A robust programme of flights to popular Turkish health resorts kicked off on August 10 from the Rostov-on-Don airport. At the present time Platov is the only regional airport to operate international flights. As per the resolution by Chief National Health Officer of Russia, citizens of Russia arriving from abroad shall upload the results of testing for coronavirus onto the Public Services’ resource within three days upon their arrival. All foreign citizens arriving in Russia shall also submit the results of testing for COVID-19, carried out not earlier than three days before entry, or pass the tests in Russia within three days upon their arrival.
The list of clinics wh ere one can pass tests for coronavirus in Rostov-on-Don is published on the website and social media pages of Platov airport. Field laboratories are open at any time at the airport. The services are provided by non-government medical institutions and these are paid services. Anyone may pass tests at mobile stations of Platov airport, with results becoming known within 2-3 days.
