The Platov International Airport developed the New Year Mood for passengers on the eve of holidays. The festival program will take place on December 28 and 29.
The program started on December 28 fr om the flash mob of cadets of Shakhtinsky Y. P. Baklanov Cadet Regiment. The cadets performed two Cossack songs in the public area, where passengers check in for flights: I Like When the Don Floods and My Grandfather Is Cossack, creating the effect of an unexpected and spontaneous development for airport guests.
Furthermore, a New Year fair is in Platov on December 28 and 29, wh ere one can buy gifts for relatives and friends – cosmetics, hand-made decorations or toys, natural sweets or gift sets. Friendly hostesses helped passengers to navigate through holiday points of sale and master classes. They also give cards for participation in a quest and prizes for participants that passed all the stages.
The domestic terminal also held master classes on decoration of Christmas balls and wooden sign making - a kind of New Year souvenirs from Platov. An opportunity of making an instant memento photo in a special New Year photo cabin has also become a nice surprise for hundreds of passengers. The Father Frost and his assistant Elsa from the Frozen cartoon personally wished happy upcoming holidays to the youngest passengers. The Father Frost mail also enjoyed particular popularity.
Live music in Duty Free shops of the airport’s partner RegStaer, which celebrated 20th anniversary in these days, helps in creating the New Year mood in Platov.
