Tanzania was a valuable addition to the timetable of Platov international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding). Starting on November 11, direct flights from Rostov-on-Don to the island of Zanzibar have been planned by AZUR Air. The flights will be performed by Boeing 767-300W jets.
Charter flights have been scheduled for the entire autumn-winter season with the frequency of once in 10 days. Overall this airline plans 14 such flights from November 11 to March 21. The departure from Platov is scheduled for 01:45 and the landing at Zanzibar airport – at 10 a.m. The return flight departs at 2 p.m. and lands in Rostov-on-Don at 22:20.
On long-distance flights AZUR air offers special traveling kits to passengers that include an inflatable pillow, a sleep mask and ear muffs for them to feel comfortable during a long flight. Furthermore, special children’s kits including coloring augmented reality books that allow little travelers to have fun and edutainment options during the flight are handed out.
Tourist packages to Zanzibar with a direct flight from Platov on the wings of AZUR air are already on sale and they can be purchased from the airline’s partners on the tourist market. For more detail, turn to your traveling agent.
We should remind that relevant information about the flight status is shown on the Platov airport website in the “Online Display Board” section. See the terms of air services on the websites of traveling agents and airlines.
